The aim of initiating the urban farming is to reduce the poverty in all the forms.Also, the urban farming enhances the territorial ecosystem. In addition, the distribution of healthy food among the needy children improvesthe nutrition.
Implementation:
With the collaboration of Rehmat-e-Dastarkhuwan and JDC, thehealthy food was distributed among the underprivileged children. Also, the area was designated for the urban farming. This will reduce the poverty in number of ways, it helps local economies, affordable food for poor people and enhance the environmental quality.
