Project 17 : Good Health and Well-being
Ensuring good health and well-being is crucial for individuals to lead fulfilling lives. With a commitment to contributing positively to our community, Iqra University initiated the Good Health and Well-being project. Our aim was to raise awareness and encourage actions that promote better health practices among community members, aligning with Sustainable Development Goal 3 (SDG 3) – Good Health and Well-being.
Project Activities
- Health Awareness Campaigns: Organized workshops on nutrition, hygiene, and mental well-being, along with interactive sessions on stress management and exercise routines.
- Cleanliness and Sanitation Drives: Initiating drives to emphasize the importance of a clean environment for overall health, leading to visible improvements in the community’s surroundings.
- Free Medical Check-ups: Collaborating with local healthcare professionals to provide free medical check-ups and consultations, especially targeting underserved populations.
