Project 16 : Climate Action

In response to the urgent need to address climate change, our community has embarked on the Climate Action project. With a focus on Sustainable Development Goal 13 (SDG 13) – Climate Action, we aim to raise awareness and implement practical solutions to mitigate environmental challenges within our community.

Project Activities

  1. Tree Planting Events: Organizing tree planting events to enhance green spaces and reduce carbon emissions.
  2. Educational Workshops: Conducting workshops and seminars on renewable energy, waste reduction, and sustainable agriculture to empower community members.
  3. Plastic Pollution Initiatives: Implementing beach clean-ups and campaigns to promote reusable alternatives, reducing plastic pollution.
  4. Advocacy and Collaboration: Collaborating with local businesses and authorities to advocate for policies supporting environmentally-friendly practices and conservation efforts.
